Nifex limited commenced its operation as a private limited liability company in 1992 specializing in the importation and distribution of textile Fabrics and household consumable products like soap, body cream and toothpaste. Since then under the leadership of Chairman and CEO Nduka O. Ikoro, Nifex has expanded into the processing and distribution of photographic materials representing Mitsubishi paper mill, Axel colors chemicals, Hiti Digital Inc and Canon.
Nifex Limited diversified its business activities to include the development of a state of the art vegetable oil refinery which consists of a 50 metric ton refinery and a 100 metric ton per day solvent extraction plant. Nifex Steel rolling mill is also a leading producer of billets and De-bar (iron rods) in the east of Nigeria. Nifex limited has also obtained the exploration license for limestone with the intent of building a mini cement plant in Nigeria.
